The Butterfly Effect 🦋
" You have been created in order that you might make a difference . You have within you the power to change the world ."
~Andy Andrews
The term Butterfly effect was coined by a MIT mathematician and meterologist Edward Lorenz in 1960.
A butterfly effect is an idea that is more commonly used in the Chaos theory.
The classic example is that a butterfly flutters its wings in Brazil which can cause a tornado to happen in Texas.
Now , obviously , butterfly wings can't directly cause a tornado, but the example suggests that all actions in the past have consequences in the future.
No matter how big or little ; all actions will ripple through space time.
The term butterfly effect is used for many things some are scientific and some are not.
The idea started from weather prediction . Weather is hard to forecast small changes like this can have a big impact on the weather.
For example , it's one of the reason why many people believe time travel to be dangerous .
Let's create a hypothetical situation where you travel back in time .You would certainly like to witness great history. As you already know the consequences of the event you try to stop it.
Any little thing you do will impact the future. When you come back to your current time , things might look vastly different ; than when you left .
If you simply exist in the past it can alter and change things in future , no matter how little you do.Your present will be a total chaos .Every seemingly insignificant choices will have huge consequences latter in your life .
This effect is also seen everywhere like while a problem in math you put simple decimal point here or there it would effect the whole end result .
